About Me

I started my journey into animation at a very young age. At 12 years old I was already creating Lego stop-motion and pixel art animations and had earned the title "artsy kid." While the following school years were not kind to me, I never lost my love for art and storytelling.

In 2021, after a wild and varied job history involving, blacksmithing, making coffees, silversmithing, and industrial-scale biscuit baking, I decided to chase my dreams post-pandemic and finally become an animator. I moved from my quiet country home of St Arnaud in rural Australia to the busy streets of Melbourne. Applied as a mature-age student to Victoria University and earned a CERT IV in Tertiary Preparation. Continuing my education journey when I was accepted into their Animation and Visual Effects course which I aim to complete in 2025.

I have also developed a small online presence after my work on The Sanguis Soiree and Arkpoint Twitch streams in 2022. In these circles, I am known by my online persona "Eldritch Flatcap."

Work history

Feb 2021 - May 2022

Freelance illustrator

Before I began my studies I did multiple freelance illustration jobs. First doing a few portraits for family members, then I was hired by the College Of Inspiration and assisted them in producing both the Sanguis Soiree and Arkpoint Twitch streams. It was the deep satisfaction this experience gave me that caused me to realise I wanted to turn my art from a hobby to a career and motivated me to begin my studies.
