Made as part of my studies at Victoria University, Dreamlife.exe is a cell animated short story about the immateriality of video game worlds and the dangers of investing too much of oneself in them.
I specifically aimed for this project to be a stand alone story that wouldn't use words but still aimed to convey emotion and meaning. As my first major cell animation work I also learned a lot on the technical side, often struggling but finding solutions through hard work and a lot of Googling!
Overall I am quite happy with how it all turned out and it will make for a good launching point towards future projects.
